Alba Nox is a collective that questions sensoriality and intimacy in relation to technology. It is composed of the artists Sophie Griffon, Jacques-André Dupont and Anthony Oilhack.
INTERSTITIUM came to life as an immersive performance which explores fascia, the «organ of innerness»* and investigates the affective hypothesis of the tactile sense. Using interpersonal touch as a form of expression, this Touch Choreography is interpreted by five dancers who evolve on the public's bodies in a secure context. During this intimate experience, the seven artists guide the participants through an immersive journey of sound, touch and visuals. Senses merge in new combinations, altering the participants' state, connecting mind and body in unprecedented ways.

En Septembre 2018 ils donnent naissance à INTERSTITIUM, une performance immersive qui part à la découverte de la fascia, " l'organe de l'intériorité''* et étudie l'hypothèse affective du sens du toucher. Utilisant le toucher interpersonnel comme forme d'expression, cette Chorégraphie Tactile est interprétée par cinq danseurs qui évoluent sur le corps du public dans un cadre de confiance. Durant cette expérience intime les sept artistes guident les participants à travers un voyage immersif de son, toucher et visuels. Les sens se mêlent en de nouvelles combinaisons, altérant l'état de conscience, connectant corps et esprits.

CONCEPT
The interstitium is a contiguous fluid-filled space existing between a structural barrier, such as a cell wall orthe skin, and internal structures, including muscles and
the circulatory system. The scientific team that claim to have discovered interstitium also consider that it is an organ in its own right. This fluid system, well known by
dancers and manual therapists as fascia, has many functions; one of these possibly being the place of our emotions.
Departing from these anatomical considerations as a dramaturgy, the piece delivers a physical experience where technologies serve a discourse of affect.

Il pourrait s'agir selon l'équipe qui l'a découvert d'un nouvel organe à part entière. Ce système fluide bien connu des danseurs et thérapeutes manuels sous le nom de fascias a plusieurs fonctions, l'une d'entre elles pourrait être de contenir nos émotions.

The performance happens twice: Half of the public receives the tactile dance while the other half watches the dance. After 30 minutes they switch to live the experience from the other perspective.

Sophie develops her research around the field of emotion. Author of an ambient music tainted with techno, she works by mixing concrete sounds with synthesis.

J-A is a transmedia artist. In response to the ambient hypervisuality and technocults he develops an artistic language dedicated to the tactile sense: Touch Choreography.

Oilhack is a self-made artist inspired by nature since his childhood. His creations are an alchemy of colours, materials, textures

An artform dedicated to touch
Out of existing forms of tactile interactions (care, wellness, sports, intimacy,...), this new artform strives to develop an aestetic based on the tactile mouvement of a performer on a public called tactator, in a respectful approach.

Hors des formes sociales d'interactions (soin, bien-être, sport, relations intimes), cette nouvelle forme artistique défend le développement d'une esthétique basée sur le mouvement tactile. Celui d'un performeur sur le corps d'un public appelé tactateur, dans une approche respectueuse.
